Important: DN-MC3000 is designed to be used as internal mode (with internal Sound Card), but you can use also with DJ ProMixer as external mode (with other/s Sound Card/s and external mixer). It sounds more like a software issue versus. I'm hooked up to a Mac and it reads it automatically. I've used my MC3000 on Pro 7 and now Pro 8, no problems.
